Nobody Can Hear Me Now

Hoping for a reply
Then my echo bounces back
It laughs, I don't know why
Shouting out the window
Wishing for a sign
Maybe somebody's out there
Who can cure my mind
Yelling down the driveway
Down the street with prayer
Waiting for hours I wonder
If anybody's there
Whispering in silence
A troubled child in need
Shedding enough tears that burn
To drown out every seed
Talking through somebody else
Another, I do not know how
I've been misplaced so much that
Nobody can hear me now |
