Broken

That I had become what I never wanted to be
Suddenly I'm standing with a razor and tears
I'd come so far after all of the years
Resistance had won and self-control worked
Until my reflection revealed a new sense of hurt
There's nothing that I wouldn't give up
To be someone happy and have enough
I just wish I could smile like I wanted to do
But it seems I've lost it because of you
All my dreams of the smiles and happy times
All fell away and I was left to cry |
