» Poem: Silence
Silence
written by mattwhatever
03:10 PM 3/2/05
Empty baron streets
Abandoned disused cars
Schools fall of empty seats
Not a sound it could be mars

Vacant tired houses
Broken bottles, smashed glass
Dumped upturned couches
Nothing left no trees, no grass

No rain, no wind
Unfulfilled potential
Of all of those who’ve sinned
It all proves consequential
