once upon a time
written by murdersjudge708:19 PM 3/3/05when did my life become a fantasy/ when was i thrown into this dungeon/ ive lost all track of time/ day or night/ how can i tell/ my cell is bleak/ no doors/ no windows/ the air is chilled/ the walls rot away/ no way out/ ive become obese/ obese from starvation/ death tortures me/ taunts me/ wave liberation in my face/ then pulls it away/ she smiles her black-toothed grin/ and brings the pain with no end/ yet still i admire her/ her beauty infinite/ her eyes mirrors/ mirrors to her soul/ full of the coolest warmth/ she is my master/ i bend over backwards/ i twist my soul tight/ turn myself inside-out/ to fulfill her wishes/ in hopes of reward/ will my cries continue/the fall on deaf ears/ damsel in distress/ in need of rescue/ night in shinning armor/ sly this dragon/ destroy this fortress/ sweep me off/ we'll ride into the sunset/ the perfect ending/ like a fairy tale/ and so the he lay/ backed into a corner/ alone in his cage/ flooded with tears/ he never looks up/ the cracks open/ the light swallows the pain/ but the night was too late/ the struggle was too long/ though my body is lifeless/ my tortured soul/ lives forever/ unhappily ever after/ the end |
