» Poem: Numbness And Death.
Numbness And Death.
written by Josh_x
07:01 AM 3/8/05
Trying so hard to laugh
But all i can do is cry
I never wanted to be like this
I always thought i'd still be able to laugh
Numbness is overwhelming
Hacking at my neck
But i cannot feel
Slashing at my wrists
The scars won't heal
But it doesn't matter as i cannot feel
Tears roll down
But my face does not turn cold
I'm already as cold as i can be
My eyes do not burn
I cannot feel
I'm just too fucking numb
All i do is cry
Drinking myself half to death
Stumbling into your room
Plunging a dagger into your heart
Pushing deeper
Until i can see your eyes roll back
Smiling at your soft whimpering
Tears still streaming down my face
Taking the dagger to my own heart
Stabbing it in
You did this to me
Now we both must die
