Dead rose petals
written by Genocide Reaper11:44 AM 3/9/05Black, shriveled, dried, they died, falling from the vase to the floor.
It lays upon my face, it rest in my mind.
All that went wrong in this place, all that is still here, staying through time.
Dead rose petals, echoing gun shots, red wine on my breath.
Finally silence then the realization that it has come.. DEATH!
Can you feel all the MISERY!
Do you know all of my past AGONY!
Can you see why now I lack MERCY!
Do you want to come and try to ease ME!
Can you aid my mind and take away the MEMORY!
Bleeding in bed, laying awake, but my body is asleep.
I wonder how much I can lock away and keep.
Its already buried so deep.
I can't reach it, and into my soul the pain is starting to seep.
Far beyond the boundaries of sanity.
I'm moving into spiritual severity.
Haunting this palace of pain and mental malice.
Take a taste from that which I BLEED!
See if you don't feel the NEED!
In my words I ask of you to take HEED!
Upon my ancient thoughts I will FEED!
Dead roses and empty shells, stains from tears.
The smell of gun powder is still here.
It will never fade away, it hasn't yet, even through all these years. |
