» Poem: Static Failure
Static Failure
written by cryptic_misery

What's with this ringing in my ear?
Why is it nothing you say is clear?
Cut the line off, I think it's dead
Come now, quickly, end this trail of red

Severely beaten and bruised
From everytime my heart was abused
I still can't hear as you fade in and out
Then you wonder what I'm screaming about

Sometimes I wish that you could see
But no matter what you do you'll be blind to me
Pulling on you till I break that thread
The one that connects your voice inside my head

Why does this have to be so loud?
The whispers of you that I have found
Yet nothing is clear, all around me is blurry
But if you hear this, save me... please hurry

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
This is for that cry for help everyone seeks, and no matter what they see happen to you, they see nothing, and no matter how loud you scream, the static failure dies before you can be saved, so why try anymore?
