A Short Story...please comment

Something told her not to go
A nagging feeling deep within
She knew not to trust him
So many warnings before
But she was always taught to give chances
What's so wrong with letting go
Every once and again
Ah but she promised she wouldn't
Promises shouldn't be broken
They're such sacred things
"Come on now" he said
She looked at him with hesitance
"Nothing bad will come of this" he said
Such a mocking tone she thought
But he seemed so sincere
So nice and genuine
Maybe too nice
And oh she felt like saying no
But with a shakey step
She went with him to wherever this place was
"Do not be scared" he said with a boyish grin
And that was a red flag right there
"Maybe we should go back" she said
"There is no going back" he replied
She knew she hadn't have gone
All those warnings
So weary she was and she didn't follow it
You're always supposed to go with your concience
Oh sweet misery
"Now go" he said
"You have one day until you die"
With a rush of emotions she almost fell over
"Whhh..whhat?" she stammered
Hardly able to catch a breath
"You wasted your time out there" he said to her
"Now go and do what you can in there for you cannot win this time"
Unable to move she said without thought
"Once upon a time m love"
And this time he was speechless
She turned around and walked away
"Wait!" he called out
She kept walking away
No need to stay and die
She had it all ahead of her now
He was worng
She had won
Ah sweet misery

And oh. Oh how he was wrong. He was always wrong.
