Swallowing Roses

With potential to grow
But yet, I can't move
From this pain
That keeps me struggling
Trapped and chained down by fear
Surrounded by beauty and delicacy
Yet I cannot face this
Never alone
But I'm just a solid rose
Trapped
Chained down by fear
I can't escape
It will never change
When you're swallowed by the darkness |
