» Poem: She Should've Known Better
She Should've Known Better
written by brokenxsmile
09:09 PM 3/12/05
She sits disappointed alone in the house
And she puts on a sweater
She's still waiting up for him
Because she doesn't know any better

She sifts through his things
Reading all the random love letters
None of them are hers but she ignores them
Because she doesn't know any better

She was always there to take care of him
Through any kind of weather
He doesn't even care about her
And she should've known better

She cries and takes the gun
As she writes her suicide letter
She thought he was her life
But she should've known better
