» Poem: The box of life
The box of life
written by suicide_penguin
12:16 PM 3/13/05
If life were a box,
inside mine would be:
pictures of the good times,
memories of the bad.
Broken promises,
A dead rose,
an empty vase,
waiting to be filled.
Lots of CD's.
Blood stained tacks.
Bottles of tears.
Scars and scabs.
Broken hearts.
Divorce papers.
An empty wallet.
Thousands of sketches.
A dusty bible.
A wish or two.
Long-sleeved shirts...

Don't let your box be like mine.
