» Poem: crimson tinted life
crimson tinted life
written by trulybroken57
06:18 PM 3/13/05
my life is shaded,
blinded by the crimson light
as it seeps into me,
taking over me,
breaking me to pieces
lying on the ground, laced with blood,
they'll never find me.
dark, sinister shadows watching now,
watching as tears give way to bloody screams
soaking up the shallow puddle
next to me,
as i am fading away..........
rising and falling with every breath
i'm living broken,
shattered, sinking deeper
into this bottomless hole
hidden down inside of me.
blurring truth and lies,
it's hard to see in tinted life,
i'm tired and losing my way.
shards of sanity peirce my heart
like jagged fragments of broken glass
tearing into me.
stinging pain absorbs me,
forever staining..........
always tinting...........
the shades of me a wicked, haunting red.
as my tears are concealed
within these broken thorns,
puncturing me..........
killing me..........
slowly..............
