goodbye sarah..my old,old friend

Wondering why,
Why is it that we stopped talking to each other?
We were so very close to one another.
Maybe I am insane,
Maybe I played along too much in your little games,
Maybe I should be ashamed that I even gave you a second glance,
And even wanted to give you a second chance.
But you were my best friend,
And in the end,
I guess I did have some great times,
Even if they were to be jerked away in one foul swoop.
I never understood why you couldn’t just let it be,
Just let me and him have our own little rivalry,
But no you had to go and fuck it up,
So just shut-up,
With all your own self pity,
When you brought it upon yourself.
I know you have a lot of shit in your life,
Well so do I,
But you didn’t even try to comfort ‘me’ in my time of need,
You were to busy crying over your little Zach honey.
Well I for one am happy you are gone,
So long,
And have a miserable life |
