» Poem: Invisible and Real
Invisible and Real
written by cryptic_misery
04:28 AM 3/14/05
The times where I ponder
About all there is to see
I look into a mirror
And smile, when nothing looks back at me
When my view is clear
And every color fails
I know that no one's near
I know I can't prevail
This blur, so open and invisible
Like an open wound to heal
It feels like the strings you pull
From my heart, so painful I feel
I had hoped for a better day
But it all seems to be so dreary
That sky above just seems so gray
Yet it's real, and I am growing weary....
