» Poem: Blood-Stained-Perfection
Blood-Stained-Perfection
written by XpaperdollX

Once upon a time,
Before life fell apart,
Before peoples words could slash through your heart,
Things could be perfect as they should have been,
Things could be perfect as they will again,

The weight of the world presses down heavily,
Others are happy,
Why can’t we be?
It could be perfect if they weren’t here,
It could be perfect in absence of fear.

Words sharper then razors can pierce your skin,
Causing rage to burn,
And fester within,
Life could be perfect,
Untainted by hate,
Life could be perfect,
If left up to fate.

Rise above the world,
On once broken wings,
Clash of swords upon bones,
Beautiful rings,
It will be perfect,
We’ll conquer together,
It will be perfect,
We’ll live forever.
