Onyx Skies And Raven Eyes
written by cryptic_misery02:25 AM 3/16/05A foul and utmost filthy stench
Of dismal and drab
Murky hillside storm pours
Just down the riverbed
Streaming to the smoky and turbid grounds
That shake like the onyx skies
As they split in two..
So dreadfully dingy like coal colored rainfall
Falling down without a single thought of change
Fading into the dark hours
This ebony vision of swarthy clouds
To hide the pale face of
A child who feels no worthiness
Because of who has raised her
He took her freedom and replaced it with fear
Taking all that she claims as her own
Covering the light, which to begin with
Was neither transparent nor translucent
But lowering, turning her eyes moist
With a raven shimmer in the glimpse
Soaked and saturated with tears
That I have found, to be a rather familiar pattern |
