Cloud Nine

Wavering without belief
With the troubled dilemma that takes place
Every time I look up..
So distracted by the things I can't reach
And what I can't touch
Fear of failing due to inattentive pressure
Oblivious to all that should matter
Absorbing all that does matter to me.
Engrossed by a distant obscurity,
I am uncertain this daze will stop growing
Staring into the misty world above me
Until all shades of night
Cover the light from the sun
Envisioning the brume nebula,
So desolate, yet full of energy
Puzzling my desire to float about
And soar into the darkness...
Just as I stand to take flight
In this haziness outlook of an open and sky
I become secluded within my eyelids,
And with an impassable smile, I blackout.. |
