The best thing that ever hapened to me
written by dark_child0703:04 AM 3/21/05My whole life I have always invisioned the perfect man,
and just when I gave up on finding him,
You showed me I was wrong,
You opened the door to my heart and came right in.
You fit so perfectly in the space picked out for you,
the space right next to friends and family,
right next to the things I care about most,
right next to my poetry.
My whole life I had pictured the perfect relationship,
just when I thought it was too perfect to happen to me,
you showed me you really care,
by not expecting anything from me.
My whole life I sold myself short,
never thinking anything good could happen to me,
but you opened my heart to new things and showed me,
that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me! |
