» Poem: The Broken Hearted
The Broken Hearted
written by lost_and_forgotten
05:16 AM 3/21/05
Four hundred sixty two
Days and nights since I saw you

Thirty five hundred seventy two
Million seconds since I thought of you

Twelve hundred seventy eight
Horrible nights you made me wait

Now I know not what to do
Except to say that I hate you

You left me standing in the rain
To find and drown in all my pain

So now I'm standing in the cold
And biding by what I was told

I kneel down and start to cry
And think of how I want to die

But I do not think for long
Before I hear a mournful song

My heart is aching oh so bad
And I keep getting much more sad

And then I hear a great big pop
As my heart cracks to the ground I drop

My body's lying in the rain
And now I'm dead from all my pain
