bound by blood and sorrow

sinking higher,
floating above
all that hurts and bleeds inside.......
does anyone see?
can they see the pain take over,
as it is slitting my wrists.......
slowly letting me die.........
laughing in my downward spiral,
let your smiles set you free,
while i am chained..........
bound by blood and sorrow
to this dark shadow of insanity....
they will not set me free.............
breathing toxic air,
i am nothing but a waste,
how could anyone care,
care enough to save me?
fading into black,
greying skies above me sing
mournful, haunting melodies
now ringing in my ears...........
blood is streaming down my face,
all liquid pain be free.........
break the locks and let me out.......
on broken wings i'm falling
as i'm waking,
waking from my nightmare.........
opening my eyes
there is nothing left to save,
they let me rot away,
decomposing in shallow graves,
one lost soul among the many.......
who will cry out?
in anyone left to listen?
no one left untouched
from the blood
dripping from my lifeless veins,
cool shadows enveloping me,
carrying me away.............
the pain has taken over |
