» Poem: Gripping Evil!
Gripping Evil!

A christen a holder of god,
A follower of the darkness below,
He whispers in her ear,
A truth she has never heard,
“Who’s Evil and who’s good?
I can show you things you have dreamt to see. Just pour your soul into me. Let me show you what true pureness is. Do not be scared my love.”
Does she accept this innovation,
Or surpass the courtesy,
Dose love truly conjure,
Or does fate take it’s toll,
“Sweet love before you believe you must believe in you. See the things I have seen.”
A life led by suffering,
He opens his arm out to her,
Is this a welcome?
She runs to his side,
Holds him long and hard,
Fading into the distant,
As he lens in for a kiss,
A smirk lingers on his face,
Evil and cold!

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
In a certain sense this is how I see life. I respect it for what it is, but it’s unkind. What is good and what is evil. Can I trust anyone, or in trusting am I only digging my own grave?
