Closing The Hole (COMMENT PLEASE)

Down the path of affliction
Until misery caught up with me
And I fell behind
Collapsed into an empty hole
With no end nor bottom
I continue to subside and diminish
Deeper and deeper, within myself;
Within myself, lies this hole.
Stiff, hollow gorge for me to reside in
A void so vacant, an abyss of omission
So white and unfilled... so frigid and numb
Draining me of everything,
Abandoning me, betraying me, killing me..
Remaining so blank and immobile
Letting fear consume me alive
Laying still, not breathing, just dying of exhaustion
Winded, wheezing, gasping for ventalation,
The panting for air increases
As my heart beat concludes this memoir, the end. |
