» Poem: The rest of my life |
The rest of my life
written by Cut_Wrist_Risk12:32 AM 3/29/05You were easy to talk to,
and we got along well.
You told me what you do,
and I promised I would never tell.
No one else knew your painful secret,
how you were dying inside.
But you let me know it,
and I helped keep you alive.
Things were tough and things were hard,
I gave all I could.
I knew if you tried you could go far,
and I know you should.
You were so important to me,
my close friend!
But that's all we could be,
the wrong signals were sent.
The next thing I know,
we stopped talking all together.
No reason to let go,
but nothing last forever.
I cant force you to love me,
or let alone like...
But I'll always be here wating,
if it means for the rest of my life... |
