Drownding

I heard myself scream but its too hard to believe
Its been burning my heart to peieces
This has killed me for all the wrong reasons.
Ive been reaching for something that I can grasp
But everything flashed before me way too fast.
I remember staring in your eyes; black as night
Makes it worth fighting for anything thats right.
I remember holding your hand, cold as snow
Capturing all the things that I should know.
The days grow into months, which grow into years
Which silently accumilate all my haunting fears.
They cling on to my mind so tight.
Makes me wonder how Ive been hiding in the light.
Secrectly screaming underneath the moon
Remembering all the things you constantly led me to do
Some reasons there, which I will never understand
Some reason why I keep on giving in.
The setting was peaceful, but little are unfooled
Darkness grows like fire and its aparently irrisitable to you.
Wish I just had one quick second of breath
Before I had to die
And while I was above the water
I would have had a chance to say goodbye. |
