For Your Eyes Only

But in reality, we are apart forever.
I love you so much.
I made myself a sign saying not to touch.
I was yours, and yours alone.
Still I long for the day you'll call me on the phone.
I am drowning in sickness.
I can't stop this.
It's made me crazy. I am not sane.
It's too hard to forget the pain.
I looked into your eyes and saw fear.
What is it? I ask as I wiped away your tear.
No! It's not true.
We are not over, me and you.
But sadly, all things come to an end.
I just wish that I had you as a friend. |
