It had to be done (I miss you)

With clothes drenched, and dripping wet hair.
Blood on my hands
And a sack over my shoulder.
I miss you,
But it had to be done.
I'd drag your body
Along the floor,
But it would rip a hole in the bag.
And I'm sure no one but me
Wants to see your decomposing flesh.
We're nearly there my love,
And I will miss you.
That's why it had to be done.
I wanted to keep you mine forever.
But you showed signs of loving others.
I guess I couldn't cope,
I couldn't handle it.
The light of the fire
Glows along the horizon,
And embers are floating through the air.
Instead of saying goodbye tonight,
I'm saying 'I'm yours'.
Forever.
I miss you,
But I wont miss you any more.
The day you died left a hole in my heart,
So I'm staying by your side.
Goodbye, world,
