Do I Love You?

I mean really, deep, deep down
Inside my soul,
Farther than I have ever reached before?
Do I really cry for you
When you are gone away so long?
Or do I cry these tears of mine
In sadness for myself?
Sadness of my pathetic life
And my wretched heart, too scared
To love too deep?
How much longer can I hold on
To all that is pretend?
How much longer can I look in your eyes
And know that all you say is true
And I am just a lie?
When will the little girl in me come out
So that I may cry tears of love
Instead of tears of emptiness?
No, I do not love you like
You love me,
All I say and do is a
Façade.
No, I do not love you and
If you knew the real me,
You would not love me either.
