» Poem: I wonder
I wonder
written by cryptic_misery
12:31 AM 8/4/04
I wonder how I can smile with all the tears in my eyes
I wonder how I can start out laughing, and end up with sighs
I wonder how I can run outside, be filled with laughter and play.
I wonder how I can tell my friends that it's all ok
I wonder how the moon shines so bright
I wonder if i'll get through the next night
I wonder why my parents will argue and argue
I wonder how my sister has the patience of a virtue
I wonder if I will be ok
Like Robert Frost says, "Nothing gold can stay."

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
Yet another 7th grade poem of mine, It's still pretty ok i guess. Now Robert frost is my favourite poet. I use his line in here because I want to show how much I respect him, and I agree with his statement. I am a wonderer and I wonder about more things that most people don't think about. I feel that people can get to know the inner me that I don't show better if they read my life on paper.
