» Poem: Pearls of fire
Pearls of fire
written by Firequeen
09:02 AM 4/9/05
As the pearls of fire slowly trails my face
that moment I have always feared
when I am cought in ignorance's embrace
Am so scared, will is tared
I am compared, in the eyes stared
by he who dared.

Thought I knew it all
but now I know I knew nothing at all
And slowly towards the ground I fall
by his call

Incent burns as the shadow turns
reveals his face, so scarred, so tortured
once blue in my head, now his eyes are red
just seconds left, than I am dead

Is this the man I used to love?
hard to tell, I was under his spell
am hoping for wids of time to blow
let it be fast, don't make my torment last
Soon I must be past.

The sickness of it all
I dug my own grave
now he stands tall
Am no longer brave.

I know what will come from this bringer of death
he is my saviour and he is my final breath.
Why is he hesitating?
Why are his eyes debating?
Why am I still here
feeling his arms so nare.

Than the cold body turns away
the shadow fades to gray
as the sun spits it's beams
and for what seams
a moment of eternity
life and death in unity.

Than birds are singing and by their voice
I wake up recogning his choice.
Am still living, breathing

And nothing but the firey trails upon my face is left
