» Poem: Childe Vincent
Childe Vincent
written by Vincent Valentine
04:27 AM 4/11/05
I
From depths of sorrow
An aria of light shines
Awaken he, Childe
II
Darkness sweeps the land
His Nightmares are beginning
All rest upon he
III
Clad in deep crimson
The wind brushes raven hair
Eyes that pierce the soul
IV
He laments alone
Lovely girl at the window
Now gone with the dust
V
Tortured by his past
He seeks revenge upon him
Those who brought him pain
VI
Now revenge is close
The taste of blood on his breath
The demon within
VII
Complete in his task
Sword in hand, he ends his pain
Never to be saved
