cut me

slicing away every empty emotion,
left still and motionless..........
everyday is another reason,
someone else to hide from,
yet they never see past
the burning red scars,
they never see the tearful smiles,
the mascara running down my face,
they only see a worthless excuse for a life.
and i bleed through my smiles
and smile through my tears.........
screaming in the silence,
for tonight i won't shed a tear
as i roll up my sleeves once more......... |
