Bleeding

Bleeding away my sorrow
Bleeding away my frustration
Bleeding away the expectations, of the people that mean nothing to me.
Bleeding away my anger
Bleeding away my mistakes
Bleeding away my past hoping, the pain will no longer last.
Bleeding away the pressure
Bleeding away the abuse
Bleeding away the addictions that contribute to the never ending battle between me and what really matters.
But I just hate to cry
it's like I'm letting the pain get to me,
I feel that I'm surrendering.
From night to day
From moon to sun
From dusk to dawn
On and on.
From good to bad
From happy to sad
From smile to frown
round & around
This never ending cycle
And the fear of what's to come
The beginning to the ending and again, It's never done.
I've been stabbed straight through the heart,
My pain is off the charts.
Why am I choosing to live this life?
Why am I choosing to on trying?
Why am I always hiding?
So now I'm..
Bleeding away my questions
Bleeding away my doubt
Bleeding away my curiosity, but my blood is getting costly.
Bleeding away my thoughts
Bleeding away my failures
Bleeding away my hope
I'm holding on to a torn rope.
Bleeding away my broken dreams
Bleeding away the important things
Bleeding till I have nothing else to lose. |
