Bleeding Dry
written by DarkRage12:39 PM 4/23/05Why does death bleed
When it leaves you behind
What is the purpose
What is the need
Do you wish it back
To stand once more
In your bitter pact
With what you stood for
Does it suit one’s end
Will it change, will it bend
Does it stay and not leave
The thirst has come and gone
Your functions all wrong
Heart no longer sings its song
Silence answers your head
Long after your body is dead
Decay and suffice enters where you lie
Suffering no more as you die
Liquid red seeps from your hide
Draining you dry
When your body does bleed |
