» Poem: Look Me In The Eye
Look Me In The Eye
written by SuperBob

See the dark holes and look deep beyond
What can you see...why do you call it dawn?
I am not a day, I have not time
So please don't compare me to something so fine
I am alive, and my pupils hold stories
Before you hear them they can get gory
But remember why you asked in the first place though
You are just one of those people who likes to be in the know
I won't tell you now, or later, in fact
I will never tell you, so by all means take that
Hold onto your memories and think of them lots
Because with things so important you don't want to play connect the dots

Your racking them up...The poetic vein must be flowing! I'm awed by them!
