Bleeding Heart

Wrapped up in misery until the day that she dies
This beautiful woman questionably blamed
To remain forever broken and shamed
To remain forever untouched or loved
No more faith in the one above
She sits in the darkness, a knife in hand
This has long been planned
Seconds of pain slowly go by
Today is hers to die
After only 2 long hours
She lay in a dark pool of blood, the smell so sour
Someone comes through the bedroom window
But unfortunately, it's too late though
Her lover, her pet, has found her dead
He came to ask her if she would, to him, wed
Filled with sorrow, he takes the knife
From the one he wished to be his wife
Tears open her shirt, with the knife at her cold skin
Cuts deep to take out the truth within
Her heart bloody and faint
On the floor in her blood he will paint
"Her life lay in her own hands, I never knew she had this planned. She was broken when she needed you the most, you were the parasite, her the host. Now you'll know why she's not there, but I'm the only one who'll care. Leave here, she needs nothing more than for me to unpart with the sorrow and pain of her bleeding heart."
Bringing himself to put her truth in a box
Even after many years, he still keeps her dreams and thoughts |
