It takes a long time to figure it out

And I think it's funny when you get used
You laugh inside cause you didn't know
And I laugh out loud cause all the signs showed
Why did it take so long
To figure it out
You can't understand
So you go down
You spend the rest of your days
Trying to figure why
While the rest of the world
Goes on with their lives
Everyday this went on (you couldn't take it)
Til your hope was finally gone (you couldn't fake it)
You couldn't stay strong (you were emotionally dying)
So you had to say so long (Inside you were crying)
Why did it take forever
To figure it out
You'd never understand
So you went down
You spent the rest of your days
Trying to figure why
While the rest of the world
Just passed on by
There comes a day
When you quit what you're doing
You stop the sit and wait
Cause you gotta keep on moving |
