The Drunk
written by DontFearAConcequence

hes drunk again ive had enough
living with him is gitting real tough
tonight he punched a hole in the closet
i wish him and my mom had never met
hes an alcoholic, theres no denying that fact
when he drinks he doesnt control how he acts
i aint perfect i never plan to be
but ill always be better, be more perfect then he
ive got a new reason a new desire
inside my head i relit the fire
i never want to be anything like him
not a pathetic drunk hanging on by a limb
what a sorry life, only love is a bottle
all this with me here, what a great role model
his problem has gotten worse over time
when he drinks he gets out of line
he gets agressive but had never struck
once he signed over the title to his truck
he has no thoughts he doesnt think
all he does is get a bottle and drink
at age 14 i know more then i should
skyy + smirnof + and even grey goose is what he thinks is good
oh this man ive had enough madness
i no longer can handle this stress

i deff. understand how you feel. my father is also a very big drinker. and he gets exactly the same way as you mentioned in your poem.. but, he's hit me and my mom before when he was drunk..
