» Poem: Punky Guy
Punky Guy
written by TowelytheThing
10:32 PM 5/16/04
I submerge myself in my tears.
I want outta this state so bad.
When we reached boston...
My heart went searching
If this is the place for me.
I picked up a red sox hat.
And acted like I was all that.
And people were like...
Who is this girl?
When we entered Maine.
I stared out the window.
And looked all around.
A punk sitting on the ground.
Smoking...
And the color went all around.
The trees swayed in the wind.
I wondered if I should be here.
Maybe one day.
I can leave my old life behind.
To be with that punk.
