» Poem: Fading Summer
Fading Summer
written by psycho_bunny
05:37 AM 9/6/04
Summer days comeing to an end,
falls just around the bend.

Summer air is getting nippy,
soon snow will fall and walking will be tricky.

Leaves soon will fall,
yellow,brown and gold,
carpeting the country in a crunchy golden wonderland,
that soon will be very very cold.

I wish summer didn't have to leave,
that the leaves would forever stay on the trees,
so that we could always have fun under the sun,
so that our tans would always look sharp,
and that it would always be warm and pleasent when it gets dark.
