Fantasy Football

My first season playing fantasy football (or watching football). It's worked out really nicely for me, sadly because of all the injuries on other teams. I do kinda hate that about football. I think they need to get rid of that turf for starters.
I've been trying to catch as many games as possible. Gotta work that waiver wire.

post your lineup ! we can discuss dilemmas.

Here is mine. 13 person standard league.

QB: R.G. 3
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Zac Stacy
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Alshon Jeffrey
TE: Coby Fleener
FLEX: Chris Ivory
D/SP: Kansas City
K: Suucop

Bench: D/SP Houston
Bench: D/SP Buffalo
Bench: Jarrett Boykin
Bench: Tom Brady
Bench: Rashard Mendenhall
Bench: Jason Witten
Bench: Mike Wallace

Huh. For a second I thought you meant something like Bloodbowl. But no.
Watching actual football.
Sad face.

You got a nice lineup Lex.

I started the year tearing up my league.
I had Tom Brady and Adrian Peterson. Most years, that is an garaunteed 50 points per week. Great base. But Brady decided to lose his magic and Peterson is now injured.

I never get invites to the hex FF league :cuts:

The one time I played Brady he didn't score a touchdown and broke his streak. It may have been his worst week.
Tom Brady did have that great game against the steelers, it's a little bit of a comeback. The panthers defense is really tough for any team. This weekend we'll see how he does, it should be an awesome game against the Broncos.

Peterson is pretty fantastic (and the app says he practicd so maybe it's not so bad). Do you have a running back replacement? Bobby Rainey just had a crazy game and if folks aren't paying attention to the waiver you should scoop him up. Both of the tampa bay starting running backs are injured and their current #2 back isn't very good. Bobby Rainey is going to get the ball a lot. (30 touches last game, 3 tds).

wow kayos that's a killer lineup. When your flex is Brandon Marshall you're doing it right. Solid QB, Solid kicker, solid defense. Eddie Lacy is coo, sucks about montee ball td vulturin'
you guys get 2 tight ends! that's pretty cool.

I did the first two hex fantasy football seasons way back in the day. Went all the way to the end in the first one. Got beat by RGX though...

i think i got lucky in the draft because half the league didnt seem to have set their pre-draft rankings lol. i still messed up in mine though, because i thought we were doing a keeper league. i could have ended up with both megatron AND AJ green. wat.

but the keeper thing not working out was a blessing in a way. meant i could get peyton instead of brady. ha.

also, having 2 TEs is weird. it kinda seems like there arent really enough productive TEs to go around.

i have been playing in the same league as kayos for the past several years (and won last year.)

starting:

QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Antonio Brown, Andre Johnson
RB: Danny Woodhead, Reggie Bush
TE: Jimmy Graham, Julius Thomas
W/R/T: Jarrett Boykin
K: Justin Tucker
D: Chicago

i think this year the has been the toughest. we don't have a clear powerhouse.

omega has the 2 best TEs  ... yeah that must be painful to watch for everyone else.
I get excited when I get 5 points from a tight end.

I ended third in my league with most points scored. I outscored the winner by 200 points. how poopy. Well that's alright, without matchups fantasy would be much more boring.

I'll see how the draft is next year, but I'm prolly going to go RB, WR, WR, RB, TE, RB, RB, RB, WR, TE, RB.

Man Jamaal Charles is prolly going to be first pick next year. What a studmuffin.

I'm looking at the recap of last week's matchup and I swear yahoo is trolling the fuck out of me, lol

"Havoc Warriors VIII had the highest losing score in the league this season with 457.70 points."

"Havoc Warriors VIII would have beaten every other team in the league besides Kingdom United this week."

"Kingdom United makes it three in a row against Havoc Warriors VIII" ... "Kingdom United would be 5-10 if they played Havoc Warriors VIII every week."

Fuck you, Yahoo Sports.

Yeah I mean he could have made up for like 3 players putting up 0. That's a tough one :/

Dude sometimes they'll play an edited game later without any commercial and they cut out all the unimportant down time. And those games are super sweet to watch. It's like 20 minutes of just football. It's great.
