| » Poem: To the Underworld | To the Underworld
written by Firequeen09:01 AM 9/9/05Poem Style: noneI seek what's gone and long ago lost,
I wonder why this had to be done.
Every bone is bitten by the frost,
in winterland I soon am gone.
The snow like ice wips in my face,
reminds of the pain I've felt for so long.
The weather gods wipe out my trace,
as I'm singing with the wind a sadness song.
The heavy weight upon my shoulder,
this burden of death that I carry.
It's my debts that makes the world even colder.
only way across Acheron is Rhadamanthus's ferry.
Then past Cerberos.. this mighty beast,
then to Hade's kingdom I'll enter.
Never to return, from the God's feast.
This is the final center. |
