I'm sitting in darkness at Sorrow's Crown.
In my loneliness I find myself at rest.
For a blessed moment I seem to escape,
this caos, this havoc which frustration create.
At dark times I am not the best.
The storm is waging inside of me,
outside the lightning just cut down a tree.
Trumling of the storm,
fury keeps me warm.
Trying to hide the feelings inside,
under my cloak, eyes staring out wide.
No one needs to know of my battle,
I'm not like a snake with a rattle.
No warning signs before I strike,
but I harm only liars and their like.
Here from my spot at Sorrow's Crown,
I watch and listen never looking down.
If one could look into my eyes,
one could see 100 souls that cries.
One could see an ocean of tears and despair,
one could see so much horror and fear.
So when I sit here hidden in darkness,
so when I from under the cloak confess,
that I'm just yet another lost being in this place.
Don't try to pull your tricks on me,
cause I never show my final ace.
I'm sitting alone so let me be. |
