| » Poem: Tunes of Memory. | Tunes of Memory.
written by Firequeen01:15 PM 9/26/05Poem Style: noneI'm standing in wasted glory,
memorising a story.
It is but lost in my head..
letters whispering from the dead.
Like tunes from far away,
for a lost moment they wish to stay.
I feel so small,
when I hear thy voice call.
Like some insignifigant fading..
a corn of dust,
that you must,
pull out of the living.
I'm powerless,
screaming, ripped by stress.
It's all invain,
my powers are drained.
Lost long ago,
Yes it is so.
The shining gold,
is turned to mold.
The high white tower,
forgotten as the letter,
in the back of my drawer.
Will things ever turn to the better?
I can barely recall,
how it all did fall.
Winds of time has blown it all away,
the colors are turning to grey.
As the pages turn,
my soul does burn. |
