» Poem: School Counselor
School Counselor
written by DontFearAConcequence

School counselor, will you ever really listen?
School counselor, let ME talk for once
We’re supposed to trust you with our thoughts
Yet you go behind our backs and tell our parents
You call me to your office to clear my mind
I try to convince you I’m okay, while you analyze my style
“Your dark clothing suggests cries for help
And you know I am here to help you with that”
NO! NO! Can’t you see I’m expressing my individuality?
NO! Cause you don’t see, you analyze
