» Poem: Life Reminder
Life Reminder
written by psycho_bunny
07:57 AM 2/19/05
Crying late at night,
face stark white.

Nowhere to hide.
Feeling so blind.

Tears seem to be all I know.
Pain sticks to me like glue.
Damn, its like the flu.

Where to go from here?
Who knows.
But I know I've got years.

Yeah I'm sad.
Real mad,
insane,
ingrained by sadness.
Over whelmed by madness.

But tomorrow's another day.
And the sun will shine down again.
That I know.
I've got time to grow.
Time to spread my wings.
To figure out what I want things to mean.

Bring on the pain,
stain me.
I'll just be stronger in the end.
That I don't have to pretend.
I know I'll mend.

Sure, I will cry.
And yeah, someday I'll die.
Maybe I won't have all the answers by the time my death toles,
but I won't die crying.
I'll die reminding...

Reminding my self that I never let things bring me down for long,
that I admited it when I was wrong,
that I still came out on top.
because I'm not afraid to drop,
I know I'll be back on center in the end.
Time and time again.

This is my poem,
telling you to smile.
Realize life is worth while.
Be sad,
be angry,
go insane.
But most of all remain.
