» Poem: M O R N I N G S
M O R N I N G S
written by nicole_lyndon

In the Morning when I rise
I still try to close my eyes
For this world I truly despise,
You will, too, if you see that
it's full of lies...
Everyone is wearing a disguise,
It is not enough that you are wise
And as time flies,
The last thing you'll want to be is nice.
Struggling through the day this thought dies
But it will come back again...
In the morning when I rise....
