» Poem: All In My Head
All In My Head
written by Morbid Angel
02:11 PM 2/26/05
I'm starting to wonder if it's all in my head,
I don't blame myself, I blame my brain.
It failed to show me that I'd overstepped the line,
So now I'm failing my own mind.

The distance seems so out of sight,
Dreaming away my nights wonering if you care.
To cross these bridges holding your hand,
The world keeps spinning around where I stand.

I'll spend forever needing you,
Loving you, and dreaming you,
Who cares if it isn't real?
I'm tired of letting these clear tears fall.

So does it change a thing?
I've reached you at least.
And you appear to be just like me,
Somethings not right, what have I missed?

My heart is tangled,
Feels as if I'm running blind,
Why do you keep leaving me?
To face the battle alone.

So I guess now it got too late,
Waited too long.
And it was my biggest mistake,
It's all gone wrong...
