My Softer Side

But it's not, it's basically people just venting
Their feelings that they fear to share
Fearsome of being blown off, or that others don't care
Why do you ridicule them for that?
Who cares if someone is skinny, tall, short or fat?
Anyone can feel this way and say as they please
Or write it down on paper to allow some ease
And yes, others may cut to feel relief
Sometimes that's okay to let go of some grief
But as long as it stays within bounds
No one wants to read in the paper a young dead body found
As for the suicide, think about it do you really want to die?
Somewhere deep down in you're soul
You know you're meant to grow really old
Some yearn for their true love
Don't worry you're young, you're true love will come
With drugs and alcohol, please use with caution
Those fun times do get exhausting
Please don't think I'm some sort of poser or what not
For all this I have done
And then some... |
