An angel took flight just before my eyes. I smiled, it looked down on me with an expression of utmost joy. How wonderful it would be to be that angel.
So happy that you just radiate it. So joyful that everyone around you smiles no matter how sad they are.
I want to be an angel someday. I want to spread my wings to the sky and take off. I want to feel the warm Spring sun on my face, and chest, and wings in the depths of winter. I want to see God, and hug him. I want him to show me all of his creations, and explain them to me one by one.
I wish I were three again. I want the bliss of ignorance, the so-sweet melting ice cream on a sunny summer day and not care about how much time I have, or how sticky I am.
I want to be me again. Not this hard shell of existence. I want everyone to see this tender and loving girl inside of me. I want the true me to come out of hiding and to tell my heart to stop playing hide-and-go-seek. |
