YOU do not USE it. Spacetiime, as a fabric, is always active. You are "glued" tp the Earth because of it. The Earth orbits the Sun because of it. And we can also see some stars that are actually blocked from our view because light can bend acccording to Spacetime to reach our eyes.

So yeah... Seems pretty useless after that... Come on!

I'm really starting to dislike the idea of space-time fabric.
My reasoning goes a little like this:

"Okay, here's the universe with at least 3, and probably 10 or 26, dimentions. Now, lets represent this as a 2 dimentional fabric. Now, we'll use the only other dimention we can see to explain gravity"

Going by this, space-time fabric is a MASSIVE simplification of everything, and is therfore a little too simple to explain other things, IMHO.

Actually space time continuon (stc) is a 4-dimensional fabric...

And basically we BELONG to that fabric or we LIVE trough that fabric...

And believe me, once you studi STC in its real meanings, IT IS EVERYTHING YOU WANT, BUT NEVER A SIMPLIFICATION!

Yes, it is really simple to explain and learn, but no one wants to take the time to listen anymore these days. And to those people, STC has no practical application to them anyway, at least not to manipulate, anyway. STC explains alot of major phenomena, so it is important to learn in order to understand "mysteries."

Yeah, honestly I am surprised that so many people on the Hex agreed that the space-time continuum has not purpose and semi-agreed that it should be recycled into somthing more useful: like a paperclip.

Your spleen may not serve too much of an apparent purpose to you, but I am sure that if we ripped it out right now, you would be able to tell a difference.
